A big Thank You to Jackie Randolph for giving me the opportunity to be a Guest Designer this week! You Rock!

I started making my card making journey about 20 years ago when my sister invited me to a Stampin'Up card swap. (Make 10 cards, swap 10 cards.) So much fun! Did that for about a year, once every 3 months. But I was mediocre. Basically I sucked at it, LOL!

Then with the advent of computers, I discovered these things called blogs and the most gorgeous cards these ladies were making and I decided I wanted to learn how to do that too! Then I found YouTube with endless hours of tutorials and discovered the secret to making beautiful cards ... layers, layers, and more layers!

Then came the Cricut, the Spellbinders, etc. ... and I was hooked!

Four years and a small fortune later, I'm just loving this journey I've been on in this blogosphere where I've literally gone all over the world from the comfort of my desktop, how fun is that!!

Once again I would like the Thank all of the Designers who sent in their application to join our Love to Create Design Team. Today it gives me great pleasure to introduce our Newest Designers to you.

Hi, my name is Lorraine. I live in Cumbria, England with my life partner and two almost grown children. Being a relative newbie to crafting - almost 5 years since I bought my first stamp. I have found that stamping is my most favorite thing to do: from choosing the stamp, how I am going to colour it, cut it or punch it, and then layer, emboss or accessories it. I just love stamping. I stamp cards and scrap-booking pages, mini books and anything else I can get my hands on. I decided to apply for being a design team member to help me challenge myself to progress with my crafting: when you work together in a group like that the ideas seem to just bounce around brilliantly and you feel empowered to try things you might not have done!

Hi, I'm Maureen. I'm a stay at home mum of 4 children and I've been married for over 13-years now. I've always been arty and crafty, and have a higher in Art and Design, but after school I dabbled in several jobs before gaining a degree in Adult Nursing. However, hubby is studying at the moment and being at home with the kids means I have a bit more time to get crafting! I'm a card maker at heart but also enjoy home decor projects and have started experimenting with altered art. I'm so excited to be joining the Love to Create team and look forward to working with you all and helping inspire the challenge entrants.

My name is Laila, I'm a 26 year old girl from Norway :) 

I live in a small area in the south-east region, enjoying the mountains, the sea and the forest. 

I started crafting (scrapbook-albums) 8 years ago, and found my way into folding, stamping and cards as my curiosity got bigger. I now make primarily cards, with some albums now and then, and I love it! Style-wise, I lean towards bright colours and contrasts, as well as my beloved Steampunk. Making a lot of steampunk means my favorite stamp-creators are amongst others KennyK, Simply Betty Stamps, and SweetPea. Other beloved brands are DCWV, Graphic 45, Prima, Lindy's Stamp Gang and Dusty Attic.
