I am a retired teacher, wife and grandmother.  I now have time to do the things that I love – playing with paper!  I love doing learning about new things, and teaching myself  and others new  skills, such as Copic colouring.  Currently I am trying out new ways to colour up images with Prisma pencils or watercolours, or sometimes I just play with ink! My die collection has grown out of its space and I have had to reorganise my workspace last month to make way for all the “stuff” I now have! I have a very patient husband who will even help me with projects when asked! He is a wood-crafter.  My computer skills are not as good as they used to be but I am slowly beginning to enter the world of digital scrapping and cardmaking – perhaps I will be able to finally scrap all those photo’s I have taken on our trips away and at family events! I blog and through this have made some good friends on the net.

I am excited to introduce our Guest Designer this Week

 I became interested in paper arts at the age of 11 and thus started my decoupage journey. I would decoupage anything that didn’t move. I started making cards on the computer about twelve years ago and I did that for years and years. I drifted into making cards “by hand” about seven years ago. My love affair with stamps began in earnest about six years ago when my best friend moved out of state. I really missed her and felt a connection to her by making cards for her. So, from that point, things just snowballed. I really enjoy the creative outlet of making little works of art. Every day is an adventure in the stamping world.
